This is where we post daily ski and snowshoe condition reports for Bear Notch Ski Touring in Bartlett, NH - in the heart of the White Mountains. With 65km of trails set in a hollow at the base of Crawford Notch, we get consistently more snow than just about any other XC ski area in NH.

Not So Good News Cross Country Skiers!
We are closed today
Due to predicted heavy rain and warm temps we have closed our trail network for todayonly. Staying of our trail system will preserve our excellent trail conditions.
The Good News for Cross Country Skiers is:We will be open tomorrow.Once temps have dropped and snow has drained we will be out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes. We have received over 38" of snow so far this winter. Our base will survive this rain very well.
Skiers can expect a nice loose granular - packed powder trail surface once the weather improves.
Come find out what our skiers already know. AtBear Notch Ski Touring Centerwe work hard to provide our skiers the best conditions available.
