bnst conditions

2/25/10

Good New Cross Country Skiers

We received 9" new snow last 24 hrs and more snow is on the way

You will have to ski it to believe it!

Packed Powder - Wet snow trail surface

Due to warm temps and wet snow we will not be grooming extensively
today. We will groom some of the favorite trails today. The wet snow
has bent over a lot of trees and branches so grooming will be slow.
Once temps drop and snow drains we will be out grooming through out
our entire network. Most trail were groomed during the storm
yesterday, so classical skiing will be fine. It will be a little soft
for skate skiing today.

Novice Skiers: Our scenic and simple Saco River trails,

Waterfall trail, Upper Meadow and Lower Fields will have a classical
track . Trails to Attitash MT village will not be groomed today.

Intermediate and Advanced: East Albany Brook Trail Network ,Our 10 km
Village loop ,Trail #42 and Experimental Forest were groomed
yesterday. At Bear Notch Ski Touring skiing is still excellent.
