Good News Cross Country Skiers

With over 100" of snowfall so far this season we survived yesterday's warm temps and rain very well.

Snow on our trails is very deep (28"-48"base) and will hold out nicely.

The freezing rain has left a glaze on the snow surface. We are out grooming with tiller and renovator. The result is Loose Granular - Wet Snow mix trail surface (very skiable). With today's wind we are concentrating our grooming on our Western Trail Network. This area offers excellent wind protection and great snow coverage. We are grooming for quality over quantity today. Give us until 10:00 AM and we will have 10km of nice skiing. We will continue to groom through out the day. Expect to have at least 25km groomed today.

Trails not groomed today will have an icy glaze on the surface

Good News Cross Country Skiers

Looking for groomed trails in superb condition? We have them!

Start out your Super Bowl Sunday with a super sweet ski at Bear Notch Ski Touring Center. After receiving over 78" of snow this winter, our trail conditions are unbelievable.

Beginners: Our Scenic and Simple Saco River trails are freshly groomed and the views are awesome.

Intermediate and Advanced Skiers: Our 10 km Village Loop, Experimental Forest Trails and East Albany Brook Trail Network offer exciting terrain and were freshly groomed today.

Freshly groomed on 45 km

Powder - Packed Powder trail surface on a 34"- 54" base

Freshly Groomed and Ready : Upper Meadow , Waterfall trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany Brook Trail network, Lower Fields, Pine Forest Loop, East Pasture and Our scenic and simple Upper and Lower Saco River trails and the 10km Village Loop. To make it even better our Waterfall crossing is open. Trails to Grand Summit Hotel and through to Fields of Attitash all are freshly groomed
